Salary - £63,000 - £69,000 (depending on location and proven ability) - pro rata if part time

In achieving this 3Ci seeks to; support UK cities in achieving their Net Zero ambitions, attract and unlock private and public finance, and seize the opportunity to stimulate growth in green jobs and business.
Purpose of the role
3Ci is looking for a multi-faceted B2B marcoms specialist to increase awareness in 3Ci and raise engagement across its five work programmes; Net Zero Neighbourhoods, National Net Zero Project Pipeline, Investible Cities, Regional Investor Events as well as Local and Regional Investment Innovations.
The role will be responsible for creating the communications strategy and defining, managing and implementing the communications plan. The postholder will liaise and network with key partners and stakeholders across our local authority networks (including, Core Cities, London Councils, Scottish Cities Alliance and Key Cities), as well as our investor community and government departments and its agencies.
This role sits within Connected Places Catapult's marketing team, with dotted line reporting to the 3Ci leadership team. We welcome part-time and job-share applications.
Key responsibilities
1. Create the 3Ci communications strategy and tactical plan in support of 3Ci objectives
2. Undertake activities to deliver the 3Ci communications strategy and tactical plan
3. Identify and deliver marketing and communications opportunities within the five work programmes
4. Report and update on progress to 3Ci and marketing team, and its wider governance structures as appropriate
5. Curation and development of content across all communications platforms
6. Develop and oversea the marketing of collateral, including the 3Ci newsletter, reports and bulletins
7. Planning and implementing wider communication and marketing programmes to grow the respective communities, including PR, trade shows and events, online promotion and social media
8. Working with the 3Ci team to deliver comms activities to support their business objectives
9. Co-ordinate and manage the 3Ci partners marketing and events group
10. Co-ordinate and deliver specific 3Ci events, including high profile roundtables, workshops and regional investor events
11. Manage the marketing budget
12. Ensuring an ethos of equity, inclusivity and diversity underpin your work activity, contributing to inclusive innovation across all Catapult activities
13. You may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties to support the Catapult in achieving its strategic outcomes and ensure effective business operations
Requirements
Essential:
14. Creative thinker that can deliver programmes to engage audiences
15. Strong implementation and tactical marcoms skills and ability to think strategically
16. Exceptional writing skills with proven ability to translate complex information and concepts into clear and digestible content
17. Strong ability to run Social Media campaigns to drive engagement and growth
18. Content and communication planning and management
19. Basic digital content creation experience
20. Experience managing and delivering digital campaigns

22. Experience in running and managing events, workshops and conferences
23. Excellent team player, able to engage and work constructively across the business and with external partners
