Hourly Field Service Plumber
As an Hourly Plumber here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing plumbing services for our customers. The Plumber is responsible for addressing issues identified by the customer and completing preventative maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
In this role, you will report to the Facility Manager. The Plumber will provide on-site maintenance support at our client in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the overall success of our team.
Must be comfortable in a customer-focused environment, in which priorities can shift quickly. Participate in schedule rotation to ensure appropriate coverage of the site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintenance and repair of facility assets/systems such as pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the water, gas, and drainage on hospital property.
* Oversee heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration/fire systems and building control systems.
* Monitor alarms, gauges and other instruments.
* Carry out a preventative maintenance program through inspections of all mechanical systems and equipment associated with the plumbing and heating trade.
* Complete general handyman duties as assigned, such as hanging pictures, patching and painting walls, etc.
YOU MUST HAVE
* Completion of Grade 12 or GED.
* Certificate of qualification as a Plumber (Red Seal).
* Vulnerable Sector Police clearance.
* Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act.
WE VALUE
* Plumbing experience in a customer service role.
* Previous work experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
* Good English written and oral communication.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Willingness to work rotating shifts.
