Tour Sales Advisor (USA Customer base, UK Based Remote role) Remote due to hours (USA time) Shifts are Monday to Friday: 2.00pm - 10:30pm 3.00pm - 11:30pm 4:30pm - 1.00am Every other Saturday 3.00pm - 9.00pm with a day in lieu An exciting opportunity to work for a multi award winning tour operator assisting USA customers. You will deliver sales into the business by maximising the conversion rate of every telephone enquirer, while always providing a world-class level of customer service. The Role Achievement of sales targets by handling inbound and outbound calls in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. Engaging with the call to provide a great customer experience and maximising the conversion of sales calls into sales. Timely and accurate processing of orders, however, not at the detriment to the customers experience. Achieving monthly team and individual targets concerning basic sales conversion and the conversion of valuable add-on sales, upgrades and extension packages onto bookings. Actively promoting opportunities to 'up-sell’ customers onto our premium products and services and supporting and promoting marketing initiatives such as 'low deposit’ or 'early booking’ offers. Continual development and improvement of professional and technical skills and competences required for the role, particularly in the areas of the written word, brand awareness and product knowledge. Communicate to line management ideas for improvement, aimed at enhancing performance and efficiency at company, team and personal levels. Report to the Sales Team Manager any missing information/data on the company systems or files that might prevent the success handling of sales calls. We are looking for candidates who have Proven experience of working in a competitive sales and customer service environment and delivering to deadlines and targets. Able to demonstrate an engaging and enthusiastic interest in travel and in particular the key unique selling points of our clients’ products and services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent IT skills, including keyboard skills and Microsoft packages Windows / Office / Outlook / Explorer. Strong attention to detail. Telephone sales experience, ideally inbound call handling.
