Role: Quality Control Coordinator
Contract: Part-Time - 20 hours, Fixed Term - 12 months
Location: Havant, Hampshire, PO9 1QJ

Role Summary
This role requires daily engagement with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring a smooth QC process and efficient resolution of any non-compliance issues. The ideal Candidate will need strong organisational skills and a collaborative proactive approach, we are looking for a resourceful individual with a strong sense of accountability and ownership, a team player who has a collaborative mind set will excel in this position.
Role Responsibilities
• Act as the primary contact for the QC team to address queries and provide support.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues and coordinate with relevant departments to minimise delays.
• Liaise with various internal departments (e.g., QC, Finance, Goods-In) and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflows.
• Foster strong working relationships across teams.
• Manage communications with both internal and external contacts, ensuring clarity and alignment on QC-related matters.
• Handle non-compliance issues arising in the Goods-In department, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
• Generate and analyse reports on supplier performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
• Maintain and update finance trackers related to QC processes and stock handling.
• Provide periodic updates and reports on quality performance to relevant teams.
• Align self to companies social and environmental mission and champion any actions that you can directly impact at all times’
Skills and Experience
• Previous experience in a coordinator or administrative role is ideal.
• Familiarity with QC processes and cross-functional communication is an advantage.
• Strong background in managing trackers and generating reports.

Key Contacts and Relationships:
In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams across the business to ensure a smooth QC process and effective issue resolution. Your key contacts will include:
* QC Team – Working closely to resolve queries and maintain high-quality standards.
* Goods-In Team – Ensuring seamless stock processing and addressing any quality concerns.
* Finance Team – Managing QC-related financial tracking and reconciliation.
* Buying & Merchandising Teams – Providing insights on supplier performance and ensuring compliance with quality expectations.
* Suppliers & External Stakeholders – Communicating requirements, managing non-compliance issues, and supporting supplier performance improvements.
Accountable for Resources:
You will be responsible for:
• Stock Quality & Compliance – Ensuring non-compliant stock issues are resolved efficiently.
• Data Accuracy & Reporting – Maintaining up-to-date reports and trackers related to QC performance.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring – Tracking supplier compliance and supporting continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Coordination – Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to support smooth operations.
• Process Efficiency – Identifying and implementing improvements to streamline QC workflows.
