About the Role:
* Full-time, long-term position for the academic year and beyond
* Competitive salary up to £560 per week
* Sociable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm
* Provide 1-to-1 and small group support to students
* Help students overcome academic and personal challenges
* Collaborate with in-house educational psychologists, speech & language therapists, and external professionals
* Support students within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) program
* Work alongside experienced teachers to develop valuable skills
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
* Strong passion for working with children, particularly those with diverse learning needs
* Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to overcoming learning barriers
* Exceptional emotional intelligence
* Ability to respond appropriately to varying situations and personalities in the classroom
* Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications and Skills:
* A passion for working with young people with complex needs
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team or independently
* Skills in supporting positive behaviour management, interventions and reward systems
* Driving Licence advantageous but not essential
