What is great about the role?
Clifton Place is a 29-bed accommodation & you would be working with a diverse group of people, ranging from families, young people, pregnant women, individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues and substance misuse, and individuals who have been trafficked from the other side of the world. Every day is different and every day you would learn new skills and have the opportunity to work with a variety of agencies such as social services, health visitors and community nurses. Your night will consist of:
Engaging and interacting with the people we support
Welfare checks
Ensuring the building is secure including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building
Dealing with challenging behaviours
Addressing any additional needs, the people we support may have
Our aim is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse and anti-social and offending behaviour. You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental.

Who we are looking for:
Please demonstrate in your application form how you:
Have knowledge of housing related support and benefit systems
Have good organisation, IT and record keeping skills
Can work part of a team and on an individual basis
Deal with difficult situations
Have good listening skills
It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
Pobl Benefits:
36 hours, permanent
£12.15 p/h
The hours are worked over 3 nights per week on a 3-week rolling rota. The shift pattern for this role is 8pm - 8am and every 3rd week on a weekend 12-hour days 8am – 8pm.
