This is an exciting opportunity to play an active and central role in supporting children’s development through face to face and Portage Home learning sessions combined with delivering Universal and Targeted groups, across the North locality.
The role will be a combination of delivering Universal and targeted Learning Groups and Home Learning Sessions for children 0-5 and their families.
There is an exciting opportunity to work within the Start for Life team as a Start for Life Portage practitioner, supporting Children and their families to achieve positive outcomes, including our most disadvantaged/ vulnerable groups.
The role will be a combination of delivering Universal and targeted Learning Groups and Home Learning Sessions for children 0-5 and their families.

You will need to demonstrate experience of working with very young children with additional needs and their families and evidence how you can respond and extend play opportunities based around the child’s development.
If you are an enthusiastic, highly motivated person who has sound Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage & SEND Code of Practice, who has the confidence to lead Inclusive practice and who can help the children in Cheshire East achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you.
Pay scale: Grade 7
Hours: Full Time x 1
Base: Oakenclough Family Hub covering the Wilmslow & Knutsford collaborative area.
