Location: Swansea, Wales UK
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Full-time (Monday-Friday) 8.30am to 5pm
Overview:
Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Engineer/ Pre-commissioning & remediation engineer on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for onsite cooling and heating fluid solutions.
The Field Engineer/ Pre-commissioning & remediation engineer will be responsible for:
* Site installations, flushing and calibrations of on site cooling and heating fluid systems
* Performing on-going fluid monitoring and planned preventive maintenance
* Completing site surveys as part of the sales engineering works
* Complete projects within the specified timeframe
* Updating, reviewing and implementing control associated documentation
* Supporting colleagues in various departments to fulfil project needs
The ideal Field Engineer/ Pre-commissioning & remediation engineer candidate will have:
* The ability to travel throughout the UK and Europe
* Be physically active and capable of working in remote locations
* A good understanding of industrial engineering plumbing and water treatment
* Experience with chemical dosing
* Some project based experience
* Familiarity with water hygiene ACOP L8 guidelines (desirable)
* Knowledge of BSRIA pre-commissioning guidelines such as BG29 (flushing & chemical cleaning) and BG50 (real time fluid monitoring) (this will be supported by the senior team but will be a learning requirement)
