Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a PMO Operations Manager - Process Validation to join our PMO team where you'll lead Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations within the local PMO, supporting the Project Manager in guiding the wider Integrated Project Team. You'll oversee the transition of a Licensor’s supplier demand and orderbook into Ontic, including re-sourcing, ERP planning, and operational execution. Ensure seamless supply chain integration and facilitate Process Validation through to production handover.This role will be based at our Ontic Staverton site but travel between all of our Gloucestershire sites should be expected. The Role: The role provides leadership to Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations within the local PMO team, ensuring adherence to standard processes from project kick-off to production handover. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Integrated Project Team to uphold policies and quality plans, supporting supplier onboarding, and overseeing inventory transfers to prevent disruptions. Key duties involve developing transfer plans for Supply Chain and manufacturing activities, ensuring facility readiness, and managing supplier negotiations, make/buy decisions, and technical issue resolution. The role also requires maintaining project demand requirements, overseeing process validation, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders. Additionally, it involves monitoring metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, supporting RCCA activities, and embedding lessons learned into future transitions.
