This is a full-time role with hybrid office visits and a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
Job Purpose:
As a Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting business intelligence, analysis, and reporting solutions. This role involves data modeling and creating reporting solutions using Microsoft tools and RMIS environments while ensuring alignment with current reporting procedures and techniques.
You will play a crucial role in generating reports from claims and related data, providing valuable insights to business colleagues across the region. Your work will directly support key lighthouse initiatives such as Evidence Provision, Golden Hour, and Claims Reduction workstreams. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous development of the reporting platform, helping to enhance Claims & Risk Management analysis for better decision-making.
Your tasks:
* Support the provision of all regional IRM reporting, including scorecards, presentation packs, claims trend analysis, and ad-hoc reports.
* Manage your workload effectively to ensure scheduled reports and ad-hoc requests are delivered on time while maintaining accuracy and relevance.
* Act as a key contact point for Business Colleagues and IRM team members, gathering requirements, discussing changes, and designing efficient reporting solutions.
* Ensure Quality Assurance of all outgoing reports to support critical business decisions, such as loss reduction initiatives, claims handling, underwriting, and reserving activities.
* Maintain and enhance workload management tools within IRM, tracking activity levels to demonstrate continuous efficiency improvements.
* Build and maintain widgets and dashboards within the RMIS system to provide real-time insights.
* Prepare and deliver engaging presentations (both in person and remotely) to Business Colleagues, helping to analyze and interpret claims performance data.
* Provide meaningful data insights that help Business operational teams collaborate with IRM on reducing loss exposures and claims.
* With guidance from your line manager, build and manage relationships with key Business Colleagues, becoming a trusted advisor on measuring the effectiveness of claims reduction strategies.
* Support the reporting function with administrative tasks, such as maintaining shared mailboxes and triaging ticket requests, to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Your profile:
* 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in gathering, analyzing, translating, and presenting data/Management Information (MI).
* Proficient in IT, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders, solving problems, and driving improvement initiatives.
* Basic understanding of SQL is a plus.
* Familiarity with Power BI is desirable.
