On behalf of our client, Intellect Group is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional data projects, drive strategic decisions, and deliver actionable insights that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership:
* Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis to uncover insights and optimisation opportunities.
* Act as a key collaborator with performance marketing, development, design, project management, and accounts teams.
* Help shape team roadmaps, set goals, and define processes to align with overarching business objectives.
Technical Implementation:
* Configure and manage GA4 properties for clients, ensuring accurate data capture and actionable insights.
* Implement advanced campaign tracking using Google Tag Manager or other tag management tools.
* Define and build dataLayer requirements, collaborating with developers for seamless integration.
* Create custom reporting dashboards with tools like Looker Studio and Power BI.
* Leverage AI to enhance data collection, visualisation, and analysis for improved efficiencies.
Data Analysis and Insights:
* Analyse data to generate actionable insights that improve campaign performance and support client reporting.
* Provide tailored analysis for internal departments based on specific briefs.
* Develop and maintain reporting dashboards visualising key metrics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
* Support attribution modelling, A/B testing, and optimisation efforts with meaningful insights.
Data Strategy and Governance:
* Collaborate with teams to implement data governance best practices for quality, security, and consistency.
* Identify opportunities for integrating data from multiple platforms using tools like Adverity or Google BigQuery.
* Implement cookie compliance solutions for websites, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
New Business Support:
* Contribute to new business pitches with top-level insights and data-driven storytelling.
* Provide analytics-based findings to support analysis on user behaviour or campaign performance.
* Extract and analyse data for case studies and marketing efforts.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
* Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, including advanced event tracking.
* Proficiency with BI tools like Looker Studio and Power BI.
* Advanced understanding of dataLayer customisation and event tracking requirements.
* Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, Google BigQuery, and SQL.
* Expertise in analysing performance marketing channels, user journeys, and campaign performance.
Desirable:
* Basic knowledge of CRO tools and test creation.
* Exposure to CRM and email marketing analytics (e.g., Klaviyo).
* Familiarity with performance marketing platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.
* Experience with keyword and competitor analysis tools like SEMRush or Advanced Web Ranking.
