Job Title: Interim Project Engineer
Location: Lancashire
Duration: 6 months - immediate start

Job Summary: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interim Project Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects within our manufacturing operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
* Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
* Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
* Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
* Requirements Management - previous experience with this is essential as this role will be client facing
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
* Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
