L&D Specialist Birmingham £40,000 A leading manufacturing business with plans of expansion is seeking a highly capable and experienced L&D specialist to take ownership of the digital learning agenda across the UK operation, supporting employees at all levels. With a robust L&D strategy in place, a requirement has emerged for an L&D Specialist to lead on developing and delivering digital learning solutions, ensuring a positive impact is made. You will be responsible for mapping training needs and ensuring the delivery of solutions to ensure employees are up/skilled in the right areas. Working with subject matter experts – who have the technical and operational know how and knowledge – the L&D Specialist will look to understand the requirements of roles within the business before then designing training to be utilised via a newly created online Learning Experience Platform (LXP). This role will also take responsibility for the coordination of training, engaging with external training providers to ensure relevant courses are delivered in a positive and engaging manner. To be considered for this role you will: • Have an excellent understanding of technology and the utilisation of this from a training/L&D perspective. • Be able to juggle both the coordination of training and the design of training solutions via the LXP. • Have experience of digital design and how to build training solutions via the LXP. • Be creative in your design capability, with experience of utilising Creative Cloud or Canva to elevate the quality of what is being produced.
