We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Contract Coordinator for one of our main partners.
Job Description
1. Technically overseeing the HVAC equipment contract, with a specific focus on the handover phase, in close collaboration with the client layout and HVAC system teams, the contractor, as well as our client.
2. Serving as the representative of the Responsible Designer HVAC contract team in various meetings with the contractor and the supplier.
3. Reporting on the progress of post-handover technical open points during fortnightly dedicated meetings with the contractor and our client.
4. Monitoring contractor's deliverables related to handover activities (Seismic calculation notes, HVAC Release Report, and HVAC database).
5. Tracking the key milestones for building handovers.
6. Coordinating and conducting technical assessments of the impacts of CCRs (Contractor Change Requests).
7. Managing the processing of modifications, including monitoring progress, using performance indicators, and generating reports when needed.
8. Updating the HVAC database and managing CTS (Change Transfer Sheet) issues to the contractor according to the schedule.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in layout engineering or relevant experience (important for the role).
2. Knowledge and experience of PDMS, E3D, Navisworks (important for the role).
3. Knowledge of HVAC system and equipment (AHU, fans, filters, water coils).
4. HVAC knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor system design principles.
5. Experience of working on an EPR project, operating plant, or on an industrial site.
6. Ability to effectively manage own and team’s workload to meet deadlines and KPI forecasts.
7. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both written and orally, in English.
8. Proactive and confident in communicating with others, particularly those based in remote offices.
9. Ability to prioritise and manage numerous tasks with other stakeholders.
10. Experience in project configuration management.
Additional Information
* 18 months fixed term with possible extensions.
* Salary - Up to £45k basic salary per year.
