We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker for our Children's Services team at Grade 9 level. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to children and families in our community. Your expertise will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing interventions that promote the well-being and development of children. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including parents, educators, and healthcare providers, to create and maintain a stable and supportive environment for children in need. Additionally, you will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy for children facing various social, emotional, and environmental challenges. As a Social Worker, you will also engage in case management, ensuring that families receive the necessary resources and support to facilitate positive outcomes. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children and their families.
Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual cases.
Provide counseling and support to children facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services.
Advocate for children's rights and ensure they receive appropriate resources.
Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance social work skills.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field; MSW preferred.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a social worker in the respective state.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families.
Strong knowledge of child welfare laws and best practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to handle crises and make informed decisions under pressure.
Demonstrated commitment to cultural competency and inclusivity in practice.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Rate: £28.09
Location: Hull, East Riding Of Yorkshire
