Overview
A Packing Team Leader in the Low Risk area of the factory is responsible for a team of people and the packing lines. They must ensure that the packing process is correct and the operatives are packing products in line with the plan and in a timely manner. They are also responsible for ensuring metal detections, CCPs, and paperwork are completed correctly within their areas.
Duties
1. Setting up and running of the packing lines in the Low-Risk Packing Department.
2. Completion of QA / Technical documentation.
3. Ensure staff are packing products into the outer cases correctly and in a timely manner.
4. Completion of date code verification.
5. Ensure company documentation is completed correctly.
6. Ensure the staff on their lines are fully trained in line with company policy and procedures.
7. Ensure all Company procedures are being adhered to.
8. Ensure all documentation is completed – for example, CCPs, H&S, start-up checks.
9. Service driven.
10. Be aware of and drive the customer service demand.
11. Ensure good communication between the high risk team and the Despatch team.
12. Compliance with the company HACCP and Quality manuals.
13. Compliance with the company Health & Safety Policy and operating procedures.
14. Working in other areas of the factory as requested by a manager and in accordance with the needs of the business.
15. Any other tasks required by your line manager.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.24 per hour
