ProAmpac Lincoln, one of the UK's largest manufacturers of flexible packaging, is currently seeking a Materials and Product Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will lead in monitoring, maintaining, ordering, controlling, and administering all material requirements for the site(s) while liaising with group synergy and umbrella agreements. They will ensure all materials and documentation are available for the production departments to meet customer requirements, as well as monitor and coordinate production of internal and external subcontract workflows. Additionally, they will manage the ordering and accurately report spending using the SAGE system.
Main tasks and duties:
* Efficiently handle queries related to production and dispatch, and actively manage delivery times.
* Monitor, maintain, control and administer all material requirements for the site(s).
* Work closely with the Group procurement team to benchmark suppliers, identifying commercial strategic opportunities.
* Liaise with the Production Planner and departments regarding material requirements.
* Plan and liaise with approved subcontractors, raising POs and other relevant paperwork.
* Collaborate with IT to improve systems and procedures for Product Control and wider.
* Input data into the relevant systems and produce relevant documentation, ensuring production departments have necessary paperwork for planned production.
Qualifications:
* Experience in inventory management, planning, coordination, or a related field would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems would be advantageous.
Skills:
* Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Excel.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle queries efficiently and manage delivery times.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Courteous and polite demeanour.
