Where Does This Role Fit In? As a Repairs Supervisor, you'll play a key role in leading and supporting a skilled team, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to deliver high quality repairs within social housing. Providing technical advice and assisting with quality control, you'll help maintain excellent service standards. Monitor health and safety procedures, carry out inspections, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Working closely with internal teams, you'll ensure repairs are completed efficiently, always putting customers at the heart of what we do. What skills and experience do you need? We’re looking for someone who is proactive, approachable, and great at problem solving. Proven experience in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team. Strong team leadership and people management skills. Good communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook. Experience managing work schedules, absences, and team performance. Knowledge of building maintenance and repairs. Full UK driving licence. A work van and fuel card are provided. What are the pay and benefits? The salary for this role is £39,927 for a 40 hour full time permanent position Work Van and fuel card 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 30 days with length of service Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or you have the opportunity to work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight. It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence Base is either Swansea or Cwmbran, covering a geographical area of South Wales. The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place, which we pay for.
