About the Role: The Manager of Digital Assets is crucial in optimizing our asset systems for seamless access and engagement. As part of the Web Marketing team, you’ll oversee digital asset organization and usability, working with cross-functional teams to align asset strategy with our digital objectives. How you will make an impact: Execute day-to-day operations of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring timely organization, storage, and distribution of digital assets (images, videos, documents, etc.). Support the implementation of DAM strategies developed by senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Coordinate system integrations between DAM and other digital tools, working closely with IT and platform teams. Oversee asset workflows, including ingestion, metadata tagging, version control, rights management, and archival, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by assisting creative, marketing, product, and technical teams in accessing and utilizing digital assets effectively. Monitor system performance and usage, reporting issues or areas for improvement to senior management and assisting in implementing solutions. Ensure adherence to established policies and standards for digital asset management, providing feedback to improve processes. Deliver hands-on training and support to team members and stakeholders, promoting efficient use of DAM tools and processes. Stay updated on DAM system updates and basic industry trends, sharing insights with the team for operational improvements. Assist in managing vendor communications and support, ensuring service levels are met and addressing operational issues. What we look for: Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, information Technology, or a related field. Experience in Digital Asset Management or a similar role. Strong understanding of DAM systems and workflows (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Brightcove, YouTube or similar platforms). Proven experience in managing digital assets and content for large, complex organizations. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Knowledge of metadata standards, taxonomy, and best practices for asset organization. Familiarity with copyright laws, licensing, and intellectual property management. Analytical mindset with experience in evaluating system performance and user needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and collaborating effectively across teams. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
