Headquartered in London we have grown from 5 staff in 2008 to over 200 to date; opening offices across Europe, Asia and North America.
This is an exciting time to join the ERSG Finance team which is undergoing significant changes, having just introduced Sage Intacct. It presents a great opportunity for the right candidate to add value to existing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and generate a fit for purpose, timely monthly management reporting pack, including detailing KPIs, performance against budget, intercompany cross-charging and the impact of FX.
* Provide insightful analysis and commentary on the performance of each of ERSG’s global offices.
* Oversee the production of the Weekly Contractor Status Report and investigate any queries that arise.
* Assist the FP&A team in preparing a good quality budget and forecast of the different parts of the business and report and analyse variances against budget.
* Coordinate the balance sheet reconciliation process ensuring that all balances across the group are substantiated. Investigate and resolve any process issues that arise.
* Coordinate the intercompany reconciliation process ensuring that all billings are accurately reflected across the group. Enhance business processes where necessary.
* Assist with bank audits, statutory audits and any other enquiries as they may arise.
* Build and ensure a strong control environment.
* Provide adhoc support to the bids and tenders team.
* Manage a team of two, ensuring growth and development.
Skills Required:
* You must be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or finalist with experience as a management or financial accountant.
* Experience of working in a multi-currency environment with the impact of currency exposure on the balance sheet and profit and loss account.
* Proficient with Microsoft packages – strong Excel skills are essential.
* Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and tenacity.
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial matters to a non-finance audience.
* Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to work to deadlines and cope under pressure.
* Be a self-starter, able to work independently and use initiative to problem solve.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
* Sage Intacct experience would be viewed favourably.
* Recruitment experience would be viewed favourably.
*This role will require you to be in the office 4 days a week*
