With an excellent reputation in the market for their professionalism and customer focus, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee a prestigious residential refurbishment project. Position Overview: The Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a residential refurbishment project, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will manage the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety compliance. Your expertise will ensure that the project runs smoothly and meets both client and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the entire site for the residential refurbishment project. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and any relevant stakeholders. Manage and enforce the implementation of health and safety procedures on-site, ensuring a safe working environment. Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, progress updates, and records. Resolve any issues or delays promptly to maintain project timelines. Assist in managing project budgets and track costs to prevent overruns. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential construction, specifically refurbishment projects (minimum of 3 years). Strong understanding of residential building works, including refurbishments, extensions, and internal fit-outs. Experience in managing multiple teams and subcontractors on-site. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and relevant legislation. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage site budgets and timelines effectively. Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
