Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing great service and aftercare.
* Perform planned maintenance and respond to breakdown calls on customer equipment according to company procedures.
* Communicate daily with the Business Operations Department to determine the work schedule.
* Prioritise and attend to all breakdowns efficiently and cost-effectively within 48 hours unless otherwise agreed.
* Conduct all contract servicing as scheduled, ensuring the most cost-effective work program.
* Follow service, repair, and installation method statements for products.
* Install equipment according to British and European standards, adhering to safety guidelines and client instructions.
* Record all work carried out electronically or on service forms, ensuring customer approval for completed work.
* Submit daily service report forms to head office for invoicing purposes.
* Prepare and submit accurate weekly reports of time worked and expenses incurred.
* Be prepared to work anywhere in the UK or abroad as required.
* Represent Ecolab professionally with customers.
