Electrical Project Engineer - Electric Vehicle Charging
Birmingham, B24 9QG. Immediate start. Long term contract or full-time permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical project engineer to join the Automotive Services division, managing electric vehicle charging installation projects across the UK.
Duties
As an experienced and qualified electrical project engineer, you'll be based in the company's regional office in Castle Bromwich, working with a range of clients on various manufacturing facilities across the UK. Primary responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering electric vehicle charging installation works in line with the company's procedures to QHSE standards.
2. Carrying out site surveys and producing detailed scope of work documentation.
3. Creating work schedules and project plans.
4. Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates and quotations in line with client requirements.
5. Producing detailed work schedules, resources, and project plans.
6. Compiling health and safety documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
7. Managing in-house and subcontract resources allocated to a project.
8. Delivering projects on time, within budget, ideally exceeding customer's expectations.
About You
Based ideally in Birmingham, you will need to live within a commutable distance of B24 9QG. Previous experience as a project or contract engineer within the electric vehicle industry, ideally E.V charging equipment (AC up to 44kW and DC up to 350kW) would be advantageous.
Experience in the electrical contracting industry is essential, specifically in an industrial or heavy commercial environment. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
