Job Title: Y4 Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Support the Year 4 teacher in delivering lessons and activities Assist with classroom management and student supervision Provide one-on-one support to students as needed Help prepare materials and resources for lessons Contribute to creating a positive learning environment Assist in assessing student progress and providing feedback Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English Previous experience working in a school or educational setting Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Education: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Experience: Previous experience in a school or educational environment Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team Organisational skills and attention to detail Understanding of child development and learning processes Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid training Working Conditions: This role involves working in a classroom setting within a primary school.
