We have a brilliant opportunity for a veterinary surgeon at an independent small animal practice across two sites. Commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, and Stockport. The practice has two theatres, a dental suite including dental radiography, in-house lab with IDEXX blood and urinalysis machines (including sedivue), an EPOC machine, high quality ultrasound, video endoscope and laparoscope.
They are a 8-vet team with Advanced Practitioners in Anaesthesia, ECC, Medicine, a diplomat orthopaedic surgeon and are fully supported by an experienced and dedicated front of house team, all of whom have completed, or are currently completing, the BVRA accredited veterinary receptionist awards. They also have visiting Specialist vets in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology and Diagnostic imaging. This allows the practice to provide a fantastic standard of care to all their patients and the opportunity to care for interesting and challenging cases. They have 8 RVNs and three SVNs who are led by a DipAVN and includes ECC certificate holders.
They would like to add a new veterinary surgeon to their growing practice team - ideally with a minimum of one year's experience, although they would consider less. The right candidate will truly care for their patients, be a good team player, and be enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated to provide a high-quality first opinion service to their patients and clients. They provide consistent support and the opportunity to improve and grow as a vet. Post-graduate qualifications are encouraged.
