Your new role: Key Accountabilities
The Project Analyst will be a key member of the UK AR & Billing Team working alongside the Project Accounting team (Project Billers for UK confidential clients). The analyst would support specific UK Division(s) and be responsible for specific project set up tasks in Oracle. This could include:
1. Setting up key members
2. Checking contracts and agreements set up
3. Completing any other Oracle project set up tasks not auto populated by EcoSys
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing the work breakdown structure for compatibility with automatic billing
2. Identifying projects suitable for rates or time and materials automatic billing
3. Populating the billing details required to enable automatic billing using billing information provided by the PM or the contract billing schedule
4. Setting up 'bill to address' at project level
5. Involvement with financial improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in the accounting or project controls function of a sizeable international company is essential.
Additional qualifications include:
* Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with senior colleagues
* Experience in working for a consultancy business, especially an engineering consultancy, is a significant advantage
* Knowledge and experience of JD Edwards and Oracle EBS is advantageous
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize own workload
* Strong sense of ownership, drive, and ability to deliver results
* Great attention to detail
* Good team player with a positive attitude
* Strong planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information and processes
