Purpose of the role
To ensure that the daily workload is completed to the required standard, with the resource required and within the agreed timescales. To develop yourself with our guidance through relevant training courses & practical activities, preparing yourself for the next level.
How you'll make an impact as Hub Team Leader at Movianto:
1. Support the Shift Manager with day-to-day operations, acting as first point of contact for warehouse colleagues
2. Prioritise workloads, identify and resolve operational issues, and ensure service levels are met
3. Lead daily team briefings, ensure smooth shift handovers, and contribute to management meetings
4. Compile and review operational data and reports as required
5. Gain knowledge of transport functions, including final mile, wholesale, trunking, and driver compliance
6. Support audits and ensure compliance with all company, legal, health & safety, and quality procedures
7. Promote a culture of engagement, safety, and continuous improvement
What it will take to thrive as Hub Team Leader at Movianto:
1. Previous team leadership experience, ideally in a logistics or FMCG environment
2. Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working across all levels of the organisation
3. Understanding of disciplinary procedures and basic man-management
4. Organised, self-motivated, and results-driven with a focus on high standards
5. Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
6. Willingness to learn, adapt to change, and take ownership of your development
