An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Library Assistant in Charge at Tiree Library. To assist the Service and Support Manager to deliver a quality, customer focused service to the public effectively and efficiently and managing the library information services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Library, dealing with customer enquiries and requests, including issuing and discharging stock items, managing the receipt and processing of new stock, maintaining and monitoring statistics, and delivering BookBug sessions and other library events.
The successful candidate will also establish and maintain links with local schools and other organisations, ensuring all LiveArgyll health and safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed.
This position is temporary, working 17.5 hours per week on a pre-arranged rota.
