The Role: The school is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their understanding of computing, digital skills, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach a range of topics, including digital literacy, coding, networking, and cybersecurity Support and challenge students to reach their full potential, adapting teaching strategies as needed Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support Contribute to the development of the ICT curriculum and department initiatives Participate in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs, competitions, or STEM events Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching ICT in a secondary school setting Experience teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and digital skills An up-to-date DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one Excellent communication and classroom management skills A commitment to inspiring students and fostering a love for ICT Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience with GCSE and A-Level ICT or Computer Science delivery Knowledge of different teaching strategies to engage a diverse range of learners Familiarity with exam board specifications and assessment criteria Ability to contribute to whole-school digital literacy and e-safety initiatives
