A unique opportunity is available to support a thoughtful and professional lady living in the Halton area, near Lancaster.
Main role will be to help organize and plan daily living tasks including meal preparation, cleaning and support with managing medication and encouraging eating. Personal care is minimal but may be required occasionally. Tasks will also include managing a busy diary and notetaking when needed.
There will be occasions when it is necessary to attend conferences whilst the lady delivers training and act as a companion at these events. Please note some of these may include an overnight stay.
Knowledge and awareness of neurodivergent differences in particular ASD would be an advantage and experience of working in a similar role whilst not essential would be desirable.
The applicant must have excellent organization and communication skills, be well presented and have a kind and compassionate nature.
Sharing some common interests would be an advantage and these include disability rights, arts and crafts, music and being outdoors. The applicant needs to be comfortable around cats and a friendly dog lives at the house.
A car driver with clean driving license and access to own vehicle with business insurance is essential in this role.
This is a part time position for 10 hours per week. Rate of pay is £13.50 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
