We are currently seeking a dedicated secondary school science teacher to ignite the curiosity of the next generation!
Situated in Solihull, our client school is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a stimulating learning environment. With state-of-the-art laboratories, a supportive leadership team, and a focus on scientific inquiry, the school provides an ideal platform for students to explore and excel in the fascinating world of science.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach Science at KS3 & KS4 level. Knowledge of A-Level would be beneficial.
2. Assess, mark, and plan lessons.
3. Assess achievements of pupils.
4. Provide progress reports and attend parent's evening & department meetings.
5. Adhere to all behaviour policies that may be in place.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
2. Specialism in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology with experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging students in the sciences.
4. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
5. A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
