Responsibilities
Make an impact:
1. Maintenance Engineer, Worksop, working rotating 12 hour days and nights.
2. The role will involve breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include high bay cranes, conveyors, and pallet de-stackers.
3. Carry out automated materials handling equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards as set out in the equipment manuals.
4. To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
5. Prioritise system faults.
6. To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
7. To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels.
8. To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations.
9. To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
10. All decisions made on site are always with customer in mind providing a world class customer service.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed:
1. Ability to analyse under high pressure during difficult situations.
2. Good all round engineering skills.
3. Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
4. Have served a recognised Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or have equivalent qualification.
5. Working at heights.
6. A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
7. Experience of working on automation, to include pallet de-stackers, cranes would be ideal.
8. Understanding of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
9. Previous PLC experience would be advantageous.
