Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
1. Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations.
2. Ensuring all payments are accurate and made in a timely manner.
3. Resolving payroll-related queries from staff.
4. Updating payroll records with changes such as salary increases, promotions, or leavers.
5. Collaborating with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll administration.
6. Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll.
7. Producing reports for senior management as required.
8. Continually developing and improving payroll procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
1. Proven experience in a payroll position ideally in-house.
2. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
3. Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
4. Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
