Trainer | Remote working with on-site client visits | Full Time | Day Rate (£350 Face 2 Face Training Delivery) Our client is a leading provider of training solutions for the Water and Environmental Industries. They are currently looking for a trainer with a thorough knowledge and expertise in the UK Water Industry to deliver industry specific teaching, coaching, assessment, and mentorship to learners. As part of their efforts to expand capacity and support the sector, the client is focusing on helping professionals in the water industry navigate the challenges of AMP8. Are you the right person for the job? Specialised knowledge of the UK Water Industry demonstrating a depth and breadth of understanding of the sector Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent technical qualifications Minimum of 10 years (senior) management experience in the water industry Strong interest in teaching, coaching, assessing and mentoring Good c omputer skills and in particular familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Leadership and strong organisational skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including teaching and presentation abilities Analytical, critical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities Active listening, coaching, and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and judgment Ability to inspire, motivate, and influence others Visionary thinking and the ability to monitor progress and persuade others towards achieving goals What will your role look like? Conduct training needs analysis by gathering client requirements and assessing employee skill sets Identify areas for improvement and development based on the analysis of training needs Deliver high-quality training in both classroom and virtual environments to help learners achieve their individual and organizational goals Monitor and assess learners' progress, offering support as needed to ensure success Adapt teaching methods to accommodate learners with special requirements Provide encouragement and assistance throughout the learning process Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using feedback and analysis to make improvements Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new technical trainers Stay up-to-date with industry trends by attending CPD workshops and reviewing industry publications Develop technical training programs tailored to specific requirements, including: Qualification Frameworks Lesson Plans Teaching Materials Assessment Workbooks What can you expect in return?
