Description
* Who we’re looking for: A technical leader with experience motivating a small team of Python Engineers.
* The challenge: To lead a cross-functional team breaking down complex features into actionable user stories, providing hands-on solutions that are robust, secure, and cost-effective.
* Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove office 2/3 days a week.
Day to day this role will
* Drive a Python Team in crafting exceptional software solutions.
* Represent the team’s roadmap to stakeholders, transforming business needs into prioritized engineering projects.
* Design and cultivate an engineering environment that maximizes productivity and drives Tillo’s growth.
* Partner closely with the Product Manager to create a compelling short and long-term engineering vision.
* Oversee DevOps support, ensuring our systems are optimized for peak performance and reliability.
* Be the go-to person for platform issues, coordinating swift resolutions and keeping everyone in the loop.
* Provide technical expertise in client meetings and help our sales and business development teams shine.
* Lead recruitment for your team and support their personal development journeys.
* Champion our security initiatives, ensuring we adhere to ISO 27001 standards and maintain a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Who we’re looking for
* An experienced leader, with a knack for scaling engineering teams effectively.
* A technical expert in Python, with a track record in scaling an API-first business.
* A strong communicator, capable of partnering with technical and non-technical team members.
* A customer-centric, product-minded individual with strong knowledge of secure development principles.
* Proven dedication to keeping documentation clear and up-to-date.
