The team in Slough are looking for a Senior Children’s Social Worker to join their team to start to bring positive changes and make a difference.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Undertake court proceedings & carry caseloads.
* Carry out stringent assessment and present reports to panel.
* Always ensure that you work with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Develop realistic and achievable action plans and trajectories to measure the progress made by the child/young person towards their wellbeing goals.
Requirements:
* Have obtained a degree in Social Work/ Diploma in Social Work/ CQSW and not newly qualified approved by SWE.
* Have knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks, policy and procedure, and best practice.
* Have proficient IT skills.
* Have a high level of determination, organisational skills, personal drive, energy, and ambition to achieve challenging targets and improve outcomes.
* Demonstrate sound assessment and case management skills.
