Disassembly Technician

Salary: Up to £30,807 + Shift (Negotiable)
Pattern: Shifts/Flexible Hours including weekend overtime

They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Disassembly Technician, with strong attention to detail and a passion for aviation. Responsibilities:
1. Disassemble client customer aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
2. Mitigate additional damage and work with the team to communicate required improvements to tooling and processes.
3. Work to strict deadlines.
4. Uphold company standards.
5. Awareness and understanding of client computer-based MOE (IQMove).
6. Liaise and report to Team Leader if any damage occurs allowing improvements to be investigated.
7. Carry out missing and damaged inspections.
8. Participate and contribute to team meetings.
9. Report any issues or concerns to colleagues and managers.
Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience:
1. 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A-C or equivalent.
2. A qualification in an engineering subject is desirable.
3. Apprenticeship in mechanical assembly/disassembly is advantageous but not essential.
4. Demonstrate knowledge and experience of use of hand tools and use of PPE.
5. Previous use of overhead cranes and forklifts would be preferable.
6. Previous experience in Aerospace sector is advantageous but not essential.
7. Ability to work independently, follow instructions and prioritize safety and quality.
8. Great teamwork and communication skills as well as being reliable and trustworthy.
9. Ability to work and remain indefinitely in the UK.
