Role overview:
My client is a highly dynamic Insurance broker with Head Office based in North Shield's where the business roots firmly lie. The business supports provision of specialist insurance products for specific target markets which continues to evolve as the competitive market changes. The company’s expertise in these markets is second to none, and it prides itself on being forward-thinking and customer focused.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Insurance Agent with a proactive approach to join their growing team. This role offers hybrid working which entails working from home and working from the North Shields office, therefore candidates must be able to commute.
Key responsibilities include:
To assist in the general administration of the policies of all fleet and other commercial clients including:
* Fleet administration
* Ensure broking book is managed in accordance with the company’s and the FCA’s requirements
* Managing workflow of new business, renewals, emails, and inbound telephone calls from brokers/underwriting
* Ensuring an outstanding level of customer service is always provided
* Adherence to the service level agreements in place with the insurer
* Assisting in handling the broking work as and when required, ensuring documentation is provided in a timely manner and that files are complete, accurate and up to date
* Recognise complaints in line with procedures
* Update all relevant MI for the Commercial Motor Department to ensure correct reporting for the business.
* Highlight any system or procedural issues including any areas that could be improved upon appropriately
Key qualities & experience required include:
* Proven experience as a Fleet insurance administrator essential - Minimum 2 years
* 2 years minimum experience working within Insurance sector
* Good knowledge of CICL practices and processes
* Effective communication skills both written and oral
* Ability to take ownership of possible problem issues before they escalate
* Conversant with the relevant legislation and all FCA requirements
* Make it easy for brokers to do business with us by building good working relationships
* Pro-active approach in all interactions
* Team player with a can do attitude
* Attention to detail skills essential
