About the Role: As a Principal Social Worker, you will manage a caseload of 8-10 children and young people, acting as a senior member of staff within our Corporate Parenting framework. Your role will involve ensuring the best outcomes for our young people, providing comprehensive social work support, and guiding your colleagues in best practices. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive social work support within the Corporate Parenting framework. Manage a caseload of 8-10 children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are upheld. Act as a senior member of the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues. Engage in safeguarding court work, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices. Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to promote the welfare of children and ensure their safety. Essential Criteria: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate parenting or safeguarding court work. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and policies governing social work practice.
