Your Role:
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) Band 6, you will be at the heart of our mission, using clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices to assess, treat, and manage children with complex presentations, including sensory processing difficulties and early life trauma. You will:
* Assess and Treat: Conduct thorough assessments, create personalized therapy plans, and deliver interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs.
* Collaborate: Work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic care for children.
* Innovate: Utilize cutting-edge therapeutic approaches like Sensory Integration Therapy and Sensory Attachment Therapy to foster meaningful changes in children's lives.
* Communicate: Clearly convey assessment outcomes and treatment plans to parents, carers, and other relevant professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.
* Experience: Strong clinical knowledge and experience working with children, especially those with sensory processing difficulties, Autism, or early life trauma.
* Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage your own caseload while collaborating with a wider team.
