About the Role
Responsible for the efficient running of one of the flagship outlets for this iconic property. Join us as we launch a specialised concept. The Restaurant Manager will ensure that the outlet is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing warm and genuine service delivered with passion and dedication, always exceeding our guests’ expectations. Ensuring the smooth running of the outlet, managing guest relations, handling complaints, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the delivery of brand promise demonstrating and reinforcing Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Values and Culture Characteristics.
2. Ensure the exceptional quality of the food and beverage experience.
3. Ensure that all associates deliver the brand promise and always provide exceptional guest service.
4. Ensure that associates also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
5. Assume full responsibility for the effective running of the business on a day-to-day basis; to be totally competent at all aspects of duty management.
6. Ensure that all departments’ rotas are forecasted, costed, and published in line with the company standards.
7. Continuously liaise with all departments to always ensure smooth communication and performance.
8. Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new restaurant floor staff members.
9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members, recognising and addressing areas for improvement.
10. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimise efficiency and the quality of service.
11. Ensure that all stocks and supplies are requested in time, and that correct stock levels are maintained and stored under optimum conditions.
12. Understand and strictly adhere to Rules and Regulations established in the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.
13. Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies.
14. Take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
15. Evaluate local, national, and international market trends, vendors, and other hotel/restaurant operations constantly to ensure that the hotel’s own operations remain competitive and cutting edge.
16. Be a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
17. Model the company’s culture, vision, mission, and core values at all times.
About You
1. Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
2. A true passion for service and delivering elevated experiences.
3. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to achieve outstanding results.
4. Preferably you’ll have had exposure to experience of being part of a pre-opening team.
5. Demonstrate Rosewood's core values and truly be able to share and express your passion for your industry.
