Job summary We are recruiting for 1 full time receptionist/ administration assistant to join the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service. We have recently redefined our service offer, including a new leadership structure, and we need your help with the continued development of the new ways of working. You will be responsible for providing a quality reception and administrative service supporting pathway clinicians and managers, working in close co-operation with all staff groups and other medical professionals. To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other administrative areas as appropriate as directed by the Deputy Admin Team Leader. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role. You will be required the ability to work under pressure. Work pressures can include telephone calls, visitors and conflicting demands with a requirement for prioritising and managing workloads Main duties of the job To carry out reception duties including meeting and greeting service users, carers, relatives and visitors, as requested by Deputy Team Leader. Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
