Key accountabilities
This role has arisen to support introduction of New Product, the role involves working in a small team to validate high quality components mainly for the Powertrain industry. With a right first-time philosophy and a flexible and efficient approach to the task at hand. You shall be working with Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machines both setting and operating to meet the increasing demands of our Engine production growth. Knowledge of programming with Mitutoyo Software would a distinct advantage.
Additional/special features of the role
1. The successful candidate will be fully proficient in mechanical measuring skills, as well as use of CMM machines. The ability to work individually and as part of a team to maximise the challenges this position offers is essential.
2. Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
3. Responsible for management of stock in and out of the Inspection process.
4. Be willing to work overtime when required to achieve delivery dates.
5. This role is a shift based.
Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualification
6. CMM programming and usage (Mitutoyo or similar)
7. A clear understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances is a requirement. Knowledge of Engineering Componentry would be an advantage.

Experience of Warehouse Management Systems.
