Position: Domestic Abuse Caseworker
Location: East London 1-2 days a week & 3-4 days a week work from home
Contract Type: 2 month temporary contract with possibility to extend
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9-5
Salary: £14-19 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Domestic Abuse Caseworker to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence. You will provide short-term advice, safety planning, advocacy, and onward referrals, ensuring survivors receive the help they need to move forward.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide tailored support, including risk and needs assessments.
2. Advocate for clients with external agencies and in court when needed.
3. Collaborate with local partners, including Waltham Forest Children's Centres and the MASH team.
4. Lead drop-in sessions and contribute to service delivery improvements.
5. Maintain accurate records and monitor service outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting survivors, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with partners. A commitment to equality and diversity is essential.
