*Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP* opened in June 2023 to offer a specialist accident claim service, focusing on all elements of the claims process to help our clients deal with the fall-out of a non-fault accident. The team work on a variety of claims, including road traffic, employee liability and public liability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with public liability, RTA, and employer liability claims.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Maximise income per case through recovery of damages to include hire, repairs, recovery and storage;
* Prepare and conduct the case thoroughly ensuring the ingathering of all requisite evidence;
* Deliver a level of Client Care in accordance with service level agreements;
* Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management;
* Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used;
* Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
*Person Specification*
* Must be admitted in Scotland - Newly Qualified (NQ)
* Understanding of credit hire would be desirable
* Court litigation experience including an understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court Procedures
* In-depth drafting experience
* Conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts
* Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim.
* Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment
* Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution -focused approach
