Silent Sounds Communications Ltd is a rapidly expanding agency, based in High Wycombe, offering interpreting and translation services to the UK’s public sector.
We are currently looking for a confident, motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Administrator to join our friendly recruitment team and help us continue delivering an excellent service.
Key duties:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the freelance interpreter/translator onboarding process, from initial application to final compliance checks
* Manage and promptly respond to all inquiries from prospective and current freelance interpreters/translators
* Schedule and conduct initial interviews with suitable candidates applying for freelance interpreter/ translator roles, evaluating their skills and suitability
* Facilitate a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for all new freelance interpreters/translators
* Thoroughly review and verify all applicants' documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and that all necessary compliance documentation, including Enhanced DBS checks, are obtained
* Send out and manage reference checks, ensuring timely receipt and review
* Conduct Right to Work (RTW) checks, adhering to legal requirements.
* Maintain the recruitment database, ensuring all freelancer records are accurate, compliant, and consistently up to date
* Actively search for suitable interpreters in specific geographical areas to meet client demands
* Undertake additional recruitment-related tasks and projects as required, adapting to evolving business needs and recruitment strategies
We are looking for someone who is:
* A self-motivated individual with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* A great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Able to effectively multitask under pressure, manage time efficiently, and prioritise tasks.
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (intermediate level)
* Experienced in an office or administrative environment (recruitment experience is a bonus, but not essential)

This is a full-time, office-based position with working hours of 09:00am - 5.30pm. Comprehensive training will be provided. After the full training program, there may be opportunities for occasional remote work, subject to business needs and team agreements.
