Role : HR Advisor Location: Portlethen Salary: £30K - £40K per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 per week Hybrid working: Yes, once probation has been passed Duties: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to influence decisions and actions in alignment with site and company standards. Take a proactive approach in enhancing the people management skills of the site leadership team, empowering line managers and supervisors to address employee-related challenges with confidence and independence. Oversee Employee Relations matters from start to finish, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, capability concerns, flexible working requests, absence management, and performance issues, offering guidance and support to managers and supervisors throughout the process. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiencies within the department and on-site operations. Assist the HR Manager with key annual HR initiatives, such as salary reviews, succession planning, and employee feedback surveys. Assist the Recruiter with recruitment tasks as needed, such as using the recruitment system for job postings, managing applications, coordinating interviews and assessments, and participating in interview panels. Provide support to the Training Coordinator with onboarding new hires, health surveillance and occupational health appointments, and addressing any other training requirements as identified.
