The Company Nigel Wright Group are working with a dynamic, forward thinking and long established multinational brand to recruit a Procurement Category Manager Hybrid Working (3 days per week office-based - Flexible Working - Bonus Package - Enhanced Pension The Opportunity Working within a well established Procurement Team, taking full ownership for specific indirect categories: Strategic procurement of key categories within Marketing Developing and delivering procurement strategy Contract negotiation and management Supplier performance management/development Acting as a true commercial partner to interdepartmental stakeholders, providing guidance and project support Managing and contributing to broader project activity as required About You The Procurement Category Manager role would be ideally suited to a Procurement professional: With either end to end Marketing procurement experience OR a solid knowledge of procurement process, contract management within Indirects with an ability to learn new categories quickly Enthusiastic, confident communicator – able to engage with/build relationships with senior level internal and external stakeholders Tenacious, energetic and diligent, proactive, assertive self starter, accustomed to working at pace and to 'hitting the ground running' Inquisitive, detailed and analytical Good sense of humour, team player, engaging ‘people’ person
