We are looking for Senior Residential Support Workers to join our team and provide specialized care for youth in a solo home setting. This role is focused on supporting children and teens with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and support to the care team in a solo home environment.
* Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional development and well-being.
* Oversee daily activities, promote positive behavior, and ensure safety at all times.
* Lead by example, supporting and mentoring staff through supervision, appraisals, and training.
Qualifications:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* Proven experience in residential settings, especially working with youth facing Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
* Strong leadership and communication skills tailored for solo home management.
* Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
* Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively in a close-knit team environment.
