THE COMPANY
A legal and accounting membership association who host a range of international members events and conferences in locations across Asia, The US and Europe. In addition, across the year they also manage a stream of virtual and smaller face-to-face events including webinars and speed networking.
The company is based in a rural location on the outskirts of Birmingham and pride themselves on a fantastic working culture with low staff turnover, social events and casual attire. Working within the events team will provide opportunities to travel internationally and support on large scale events.
THE ROLE
Supporting the Event Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Delegate and registration management
2. Providing reports to senior members of the team
3. Liaising with suppliers including venues, catering and AV
4. Preparing event materials and delegate packs
5. Providing support for virtual events
6. Admin tasks including updating databases and spreadsheets
7. Travel and accommodation management
8. Liaising with internal teams
9. Liaising with speakers and sponsors
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be passionate and enthusiastic about events and eager to progress their career. A variety of backgrounds will be considered but some events experience will be required whether this be a degree with placements or 1 year's event management experience. You will also be detail-oriented and highly organized.
